Cheers to Volunteers! – Sharon Gartin
Sharon Gartin started volunteering as a dog walker years before Kansas City Pet Project (KCPP) took charge of the Kansas City Shelter. As her Facebook friends know, she is constantly posting photos in order to help dogs find fur-ever homes. At KCPP, she is known for her caring, positive attitude and the countless ways she finds to help animals. As Annie Frisbie at KCPP wrote, “Dogs wag their tails as Sharon walks by, hoping that she will be the one who will walk them that day.” How many miles have Sharon and the dogs walked? We’re guessing it’s to the moon and back. How much do the dogs love her? To the moon and back!
