Fashion for a Cause

Truman Medical Center’s stylish event, Fashion for a Cause,  was wildly successful again this year, with 875 tickets sold, making the 2009 event the highest attended ever!  Twelve local fashion boutiques showcased their fab fashions in a New York-style runway show, and the Kansas City Friend’s of Alvin Ailey performed three divine dances specially choreographed for the event by Executive Director Tyrone Aiken.  Prior to the event at The Midland Theatre, a Patrons’ Party was held in the lovely home of Sonya and Jim Nutter.  Proceeds from the event were for the expansion of TMC’s Perinatal Diagnostics Center
