Nancy Sachse, Editor
Nancy has served as the editor of The Independent since 2012. She believes in the immense power of storytelling, and as a fourth generation Kansas Citian, Nancy relishes the opportunity to share stories that connect and inspire the community she loves. She is a graduate of the William Allen White School of Journalism at The University of Kansas. Nancy and her husband, Mark, have two daughters, and in her free time, she is passionate about traveling, the arts, and volunteering.
