Cheers to Volunteers! – Nancy Smithyman
Nancy Smithyman has been the CASA volunteer for ‘Eva’ since she was 13 years old. Together, Nancy and Eva endured the many twists and turns of the foster care system, including foster homes, hospital stays and therapy and counseling sessions. Today, having graduated from high school, Eva has begun life as a college student. CASA of Johnson and Wyandotte Counties sincerely thanks Nancy for her consistent and thorough care of Eva these past five years. She has made a difference in a child’s life.
