Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Thomas Montgomery of Leawood are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashleigh Louise Montgomery, to Wesley Ryan Sterr, the son of Dr. and Mrs. William Brian Telle of Forsyth, Illinois, and the late Mr. Thomas Xavier Sterr. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. James Albert Boggess of Charleston, West Virginia, and the late Mr. Boggess and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Patrick Montgomery of North Port, Florida. Ashleigh is a graduate of Notre Dame de Sion High School. She earned a bachelor of science degree in journalism and a master’s degree in business administration from The University of Kansas. Ashleigh was a Jewel Ball debutante in 2005 and is a BOTAR, class of 2009. She is careering with Lockton Companies.

Her groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Miller and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Sterr. Wesley is a graduate of Maroa-Forsyth High School in Maroa, Illinois. He earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration – finance from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Wesley received a master’s degree in business administration from The University of Kansas. He is employed with the Lansing Trade Group. Theirs will be a September 20th wedding at Our Lady of Sorrows in Our Town.
