Mr. and Mrs. Charles William Fairchild of Our Town, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Elizabeth Fairchild, to Lant Blakeman Fogarty, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Michael Fogarty of Our Town. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Margaret Senter Pratt of Mission Hills, Kansas, and the late Mr. John Richard Senter and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clement William Fairchild. Julie is a graduate of The Pembroke Hill School and earned a bachelor of arts degree in government and romance languages from Dartmouth College. She is a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority and is a BOTAR, class of 2006. Julie is careering with Novogradac.

Her groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Wade Unger of Bolivar, Missouri, and Mrs. John Patrick Fogarty of Kansas City, Kansas, and the late Mr. Fogarty. Lant is a graduate of Bishop Ward High School and earned a bachelor of science degree in engineering at The United States Military Academy at West Point. He is a First Lieutenant with the United States Army, 101st Airborne Division, at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Theirs will be a June 2nd wedding at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Redemptorist Catholic Church.
