More than 500 guests enjoyed The Center for Practical Bioethics’ Annual Dinner and Joan Berkley Symposium on April 30th and May 1st . The theme of this year’s event was “Healing What Hurts: The Politics of Pain.” The under-treatment of pain, which affects 100 million Americans, has been a focus of the Center’s work since its founding in 1984.
