Congratulations, Anne & Michael!

Mr. and Mrs. James Richard Slaughter of Fairway are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Anne Manion Slaughter, to Michael Clark Hinckley, Jr., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Clark Hinckley of Cincinnati, Ohio. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. James Langwith Manion of St. Louis, Missouri, and the late Mrs. Manion and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Stephen Slaughter. Anne is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. She earned a bachelor of science degree in journalism and a bachelor of arts degree in French from The University of Kansas. Anne is a BOTAR, class of 2010. She is a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority and careers with HUB International in Chicago, Illinois.

Her groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Wenstrup of Cincinnati and the late Mr. and Mrs. Timothy D. Hinckley. Michael is a graduate of St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati. He earned a bachelor of science degree in marketing from Miami University. Michael served as an escort in the Cincinnati Debutante Ball in 2008. He is a member of Phi Kappa Tau fraternity and is employed with Heritage Wine Cellars in Chicago. Theirs will be an October 31st wedding at the Chapel By The Sea in Clearwater Beach, Florida.
