Kansas City Young Matrons – Land Exchange Ceremony
September 12th was the date when Kansas City Young Matrons’ clubhouse moved from its address at 5100 Oak Street to its new location at 5211 Cherry Street. Members, neighbors and the community at large turned out to watch the slow, steady progress of a house on wheels. Van Trust Realty provided a delicious lunch and a Land Exchange Ceremony took place between UMKC Chancellor Leo Morton and Bonne Illig, KCYM representative.
