Congratulations, Westy & Eddie!

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Pershing Litz, Jr., of Butler, Maryland, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Westcott Litz, to Edward Francis Higgins III, the son of Dr. and Mrs. Edward Francis Higgins, Jr., of Our Town. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Preston Irving Moffett and the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald Pershing Litz, Sr. Westy is a graduate of The Garrison Forrest School in Owings Mills, Maryland. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in sociology and a master’s degree in special education from the University of Mary Washington. Westy is careering with The Carey School in San Mateo, California. 

Her groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Albert Charles Bean, Jr. of Our Town and the late Mr. Bean and the late Dr. and Mrs. Edward Francis Higgins, Sr. Eddie is a graduate of The Pembroke Hill School. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in history from Yale University. Eddie was a Jewel Ball escort in 2003. He is employed with Google in San Francisco, California. Theirs will be a May 27th wedding at Second Presbyterian Church in Baltimore, Maryland.
