Kansas City Actors Theatre – Brouhaha
Elaine and Ben Mann were the chairmen of Kansas City Actors Theatre’s annual Brouhaha event on November 12th at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art. This year launched the Gary Holcombe Legacy Fund, intended to fund young and emerging artists, both onstage and behind-the-scenes, as well as to develop new audiences for live theatrical storytelling through partnerships and educational programming. Gary, who passed away in 2011, was one of eight founding members of KCAT. His wife, Donna Thomason, served as the emcee. Board President Beverly Elving also recognized Founders Tom Mardikes, Gregg Marcowski and Greg Mackender for their contribution to KCAT and the Kansas City arts community.
