The Kansas City Art Institute – Art and Design Auction
The Kansas City Art Institute held a kick-off reception on October 2nd for its 2013 Art and Design Auction in Vanderslice Hall. The big event is set for June 1st on the KCAI campus and will feature selected work from KCAI alumni and faculty in the live and silent auctions. The biennial auction supports student scholarships at KCAI, where 800 students are currently enrolled and about 98 percent of those students receive some form of financial aid. Meg and Bill Zahner are the honorary chairmen, and Mary and Richard Wetzel and Kathy and Mark Donovan are the co-chairmen.
