Lyric Opera Circle – Lyric Opera Ball Kick-off Party
Hallbrook Country Club was the lovely setting for the Lyric Opera Circle’s Lyric Opera Ball Kick-off Party, “Apéritifs and Arias,” on September 21st. Ball Chairman Monica Mitchell-Werp and Paul Werp and Sharon and Lou Smith were the hosts. Guests enjoyed entertainment from the Lyric Opera Resident Artists: Lauren Auge, Marlen Nahhas, Tim Murray, and pianist James Maverick. Carol and Humbert Tinsman are the honorary chairmen of the Lyric Opera Ball, “An Evening of Bel Canto.” The 60th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Ball will be held on April 14th at the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center. Prairie Village native Ben Bliss is the featured performer.
