Congratulations, Kathryn & Stephen!
Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Blake Stanton of Overland Park, Kansas, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Hannah Stanton, to Stephen Evans Nichols, the son of Dr. and Mrs. Jon Christopher Nichols of Leawood, Kansas. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. Daniel Mark Hannah of Lyons, Kansas, and the late Mrs. Hannah and Mr. and Mrs. Roger Duane Stanton of Prairie Village, Kansas. Kathryn is a graduate of Shawnee Mission South High School. She was presented at The Junior League of Wyandotte and Johnson Counties’ Community Ball & Cotillion in 2007. Kathryn earned a bachelor of arts degree in communication studies from The University of Kansas. She is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and is a BOTAR, class of 2012. Kathryn is the general manager of Standard Style in Leawood.
Her groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Edward Evans of Kansas City, Missouri, and Mr. and Mrs. Weeden Rockwell Nichols of Las Cruces, New Mexico. Stephen is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. He received a bachelor of arts degree in strategic communications summa cum laude and a juris doctorate from The University of Kansas. Stephen is a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity. He will serve as a law clerk for the Honorable Daniel D. Crabtree, District Judge for the United States District Court for the District of Kansas. Theirs will be an October 6th wedding at Old Mission United Methodist Church in Fairway, Kansas.
