Royals Charities – Diamond of Dreams
Kauffman Stadium was the setting for Diamond of Dreams, hosted by Royals Charities and the Glass family, on June 10th. Ben Aken was the chairman. Guests enjoyed appearances by current and former Royals players, a silent auction, performances by members of KC Aerial Arts, a concert by Chris Lane, refreshments, and a fireworks spectacular. The Helzberg Diamonds VIP Party was the place to be for sponsors. Proceeds support the building of a Fisher House, which will provide free lodging for the families of patients receiving medical care at major military and Veterans Administration medical centers.
