Powell Gardens – Under A Harvest Moon: A Farm-To-Table Dinner
Four chefs participated in Under A Harvest Moon: A Farm-To-Table Dinner, which was held at Powell Gardens on September 15th: Megan Garrelts of bluestem and Rye, Rafael Cambron of The Carriage Club, Vaughn Good of Fox and Pearl, and Carlos Falcon of Jarocho and Sayachi. Guests dined under the eaves of the Missouri Barn. The fun included a silent auction, a wine pull, and the music of the Emily Dix Collective. The festivities also celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Heartland Harvest Garden. Katherine and Clay Barton were the honorary chairmen, and Newell Gates Brookfield and Sally Gates McEntyre served as the co-chairmen. Proceeds will enhance the gardens and the innovative education programs for visitors of all ages.
