Lyric Opera Circle – The Lyric Opera Ball

The Lyric Opera Ball, hosted by the Lyric Opera Circle, will be held on April 1st at the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center. Mary Beth Gentry is serving as the president of the Lyric Opera Circle, and Edie Downing and Juliette Singer are serving as the co-chairmen for the Ball. The event will celebrate Stephen Sondheim, and in a nod to April Fools’ Day, there will be jesters and mimes among the many entertainers. The festivities will include a silent auction, games of chance, a gourmet dinner, and dancing, in addition to the entertainment. Proceeds will support the Lyric Opera and its educational programs.
