Engagement – Jones/Neely

Glendolyn Jackie Neely and Dr. William Ryan Jones will meet at the altar of the Church of the Nativity in Leawood, Kansas, on May 23rd. Glendolyn is the daughter of Mrs. Mark Ellery Neely of Chanute, Kansas, and the late Mr. Neely. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Eugene McClaskey and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Glen Neely. Will is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Elliott Jones of Leawood. He is the grandson of Joan Ryan Ball, the late Dr. David Allen Ball, and Gwendolyn Ball; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Russell Scarritt Jones.

Glendolyn is a graduate of Humboldt High School in Humboldt, Kansas, and Kansas State University, where she received a bachelor of science degree in communication sciences and disorders. She also received a master’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Northern Iowa. Will graduated from Blue Valley North High School, and he received a bachelor of science degree in biology from Kansas State University. He also earned a medical degree from The University of Kansas School of Medicine. Will was a Gentleman of The Jewel Ball in 2012. 

The bride-to-be is currently employed with Select Rehabilitation Company in Pittsburg, Kansas, and her groom-elect is a practicing pediatrician in Iola, Kansas.
