American Public Square at Jewell – Evening at the Square
American Public Square at Jewell, a group dedicated to convening non-like-minded people to improve the tone and quality of civil discourse and find paths toward common ground, will host its annual event, Evening at the Square, on December 9th at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. Host Committee Co-chairs Dr. Valerie Chow and Judge Jon R. Gray (Ret.) and Regina and Bill Kort will welcome New York Times opinion columnist, Bret Stephens, in conversation with the former Governor of Massachusetts, Deval Patrick. The evening will also honor community leaders, Sally and Ramón Murguía, with the 2024 Founder’s Civility Award, and American Public Square founder, Ambassador Allan J. Katz, in celebration of the organization’s 10th year.
