First Tee Greater Kansas City – Day for Kids with Tom Watson Golf Tournament

More than 105 golfers were all smiles on a lovely fall day at Lake Quivira Country Club, as they raised their clubs and funds to benefit First Tee Greater Kansas City. Day for Kids with Tom Watson Golf Tournament was the 26th annual outing, and Paul Kempinski, Children’s Mercy; was this year’s honorary tournament chairman.  The youth development organization integrates the game of golf with a life skills curriculum, creating active learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience.

Mark Kreiser, Dave Meyer, Mark Meads, and Aaron Fouts flanked Tom Watson, who played a hole with each team in the tournament.
