Nicole Alexandra Hefner and John Kennedy Goodwin II were married on August 24th at Saint Andrew Greek Orthodox Church in Chicago, Illinois, surrounded by family and friends. Nicole is the daughter of Drs. Denise and George Hefner of Lincolnshire, Illinois. She is the granddaughter of the late Lena and Dr. Peter Verges, and the late Donna and Gerhardt Hefner. Johnny is the son of Kristin and John Goodwin of Mission Hills, Kansas. He is the grandson of the late Sara and Mack Vail Colt and Elizabeth and the late Frederick Merry Goodwin, Jr. The evening prior to the ceremony, the groom’s parents hosted the lovely rehearsal dinner at Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba, and the beautiful reception was hosted by the bride’s parents at The Field Museum. Following a honeymoon in Greece and Italy, the newlyweds are at home in Los Angeles, California, where Nicole is employed with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and Johnny is employed with Silicon Valley Bank.
