Madeleine Claire Matthews and Brendan Kent Stallard were joined in matrimony on September 21st at Triple S Ranch in Calistoga, California, in a stunning ceremony. Triple S Ranch served as the backdrop for the reception, as well as the rehearsal dinner, hosted by both families the evening prior to the exchange of vows. Maddy is the daughter of Margaret and David Matthews of Redwood City, California, and Brendan is the son of Marya and Kent Stallard of Prairie Village, Kansas. Maddy is the granddaughter of the late Anne and Emo Biagini and the late Jacqueline and Phil Matthews. Brendan is the grandson of Mary Jean Podrebarac of Prairie Village, Kansas, and the late Dr. Charles Podrebarac; and Shirley Stallard of Leawood, Kansas, and the late Glenn Stallard.
The wedding was officiated by Tanner Owen. The maid of honor was Charlotte Matthews, sister of the bride; and Abby Marshall, Alyssa Frederico, Danielle de Granville, Morgan McCracken, Rekha Kennedy, and Sofi King were the bridesmaids. Dr. Paul Black served as the best man, and Ben Keeton, Connor Caldwell, Jacob Gerson, John Stevens, Lucas Marshall, Partha Reddy, and Tyler Peterson were the groomsmen.
Following a honeymoon at the Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda, and the Serengeti in Tanzania, the couple is at home in Chicago, Illinois, where Maddy is employed with Google, and Brendan is employed with Bain & Company.
