Leading with Love, the benefit gala for Kansas City Girls Preparatory Academy, was held on September 5th to celebrate the work of the Academy in its first six years of educating girls. More than 450 guests gathered at Loews Kansas City Hotel for the event, which featured cocktails, dinner, a live auction, and remarks from current and past KCGPA students. KCGPA is the only single-gender, public charter school in Our Town. Its mission is to prepare young women to use their voices, to succeed in college, and to lead impactful, meaningful lives.
