AIDS Service Foundation of Greater Kansas City – AIDS WALK Kansas City
Hundreds of people gathered for AIDS WALK Kansas City, a benefit for the AIDS Service Foundation of Greater Kansas City. The 29th annual event was held on April 29th in Theis Park. Due to thunder and the lightening, the walk portion of the event was canceled, for everyone’s safety. Despite that, fundraising actually increased by $140,000 from last year, bringing the total to $529,000 earmarked for those living with HIV/AIDS.
