BARRE KC – KC Streetcar BARRE Crawl
Members of BARRE KC, Kansas City Ballet’s young friends group, recently enjoyed the KC Streetcar BARRE Crawl, where each stop featured a theme from one of this year’s ballet performances. The mid-afternoon fun began with an open rehearsal of Carmina Burana at the Todd Bolender Center, followed by a trip to the Crossroads Hotel for a Tulips and Lobster inspired drink and a performance by Kansas City Ballet’s Second Company. Traveling along in the streetcar, there were sips and nibbles and stops that included The Chesterfield, for spritzers inspired by Swan Lake, and to Harry’s Country Club for Celtic cocktails.
