May 1st was the date for The Saint Luke’s Foundation at Saint Luke’s South Hospital’s eighth annual Books & Boutiques at the Overland Park Convention Center. Alicia Cabrera-Hill, Kim Madden and Dr. Marsha Weaver were co-chairmen, and Lara Mortiz served as the emcee. Laura McBride, author of We Are Called To Rise; was the featured speaker. Proceeds support women’s breast health at Saint Luke’s South Hospital.
