In its 12th year, The Gathering, a benefit for Catholic Charities Foundation of Northeast Kansas and the New Roots program, was held on October 1st. Julie Thompson hosted the event, and Missy Kuklenski was the chairman. Guests enjoyed remarks from Lauren Solidum, Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas; and Kristin Selby, New Roots program manager; and shopping from a pop-up farmstand created by the New Roots participants.
