Cheers To Volunteers! – Kansas City Women
Tandra Stacer has been involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City for many years. Not only is she a board member, but she is a Big. Tandra and her Little, Gabby, were matched a decade ago and have many wonderful memories of their time together. Tandra and Gabby received the Big and Little Sister of the Year Award for 2022.
Who can Family Health Care rely on for assistance with events such as Tacos & Beer on the Boulevard and Champagne & Chocolate? The members of the State Line Service League, that’s who. They have graciously provided their support for a number of years.


Residents at Lakemary Center enjoy quality time with Leona Luckey and Edith Williams. The two have volunteered at Lakemary Center for 20 years and 23 years, respectively. For three hours every weekday morning, they lead activities such as exercising, discussing current events, and creating craft projects. Leona and Edith are both Foster Grandparents; this program is for seniors who choose to volunteer in the community.


Skyler Boschen, who is known as Sky, began volunteering at MOCSA after being a client. Her main focus is serving as a hospital advocate for survivors, and she also provides additional assistance to the organization. Sky recently was honored as the Volunteer of the Year.
