MOCSA – Community Luncheon
April 30th is the date for MOCSA’s Community Luncheon at the Muehlebach Tower of the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. Lara Logan will serve as the keynote speaker. Lara’s reporting from war zones for more than two decades has earned her a prominent spot among journalism’s best correspondents. The sexual assault she endured in Egypt while covering the Egyptian Revolution in 2011 brought a new spotlight on her as a survivor. Michelle and Peter deSilva and Jordan and Marcelo Claure are the honorary co-chairmen, and Carole Cobb and Beverly Brooks are serving as the co-chairmen.
