Mr. and Mrs. David Cummings of Parkville, Missouri, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Renee Cummings, to Alexander George Hawn, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Charles Hawn of Leawood, Kansas. Nicole is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Troyer of Burlington, Colorado; and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cummings of Kansas City, Missouri. Alex is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. John Edwin George of Overland Park, Kansas; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hawn.
Nicole is a graduate of Park Hill South High School, and she earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance and banking, and real estate from the University of Missouri – Columbia, where she joined Delta Gamma sorority. Alex is a graduate of Rockhurst High School, and he earned a bachelor of arts degree in history from the University of Missouri – Columbia, where he joined Delta Upsilon fraternity. He received a juris doctor from Southern Methodist University. Alex was presented at the Junior League of Wyandotte and Johnson Counties’ Community Ball and Cotillion in 2014, and he was an escort in the 2022 BOTAR Ball.
Nicole and Alex are relocating from New York, New York, and San Antonio, Texas, respectively, and will be residing in the Kansas City area prior to their nuptials. The happy couple is busy making plans for their wedding.
