Mr. and Mrs. Donald Edward Elder of Our Town are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Nicole Elder, to Elmer William Stout, Jr., the son of Carol Krausnick Stout and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer William Stout II of Memphis, Tennessee. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Bonnie Hendrix, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. Warner Sorensen, and Mrs. Donald James Elder and the late Mr. Elder. Ashley is a graduate of Notre Dame de Sion High School. She earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing from the University of Missouri. Ashley is a BOTAR, class of 2012. She is a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority and careers with The University of Kansas Hospital. 

Her groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Edward Carl Krausnick and the late Mr. Krausnick and Mr. John Thomas Stout and the late Mrs. Stout. William is a graduate of The Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He earned a bachelor of science degree in business from the University of Alabama. William was a BOTAR escort in 2011. He is employed with Packaging Products Corporation. Theirs will be an October 8th ceremony at Visitation Church.
