Congratulations, Caitlin & Brody!

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Moore Benson of Leawood, Kansas, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Caitlin Claire Benson, to Broderick Lee Johnson, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Raymond Johnson of Kansas City, Missouri. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. William Blaine Kircher of Fairway, Kansas, and the late Mrs. Kircher, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Albert Benson. Caitlin is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. She was a Jewel Ball debutante in 2011 and is a BOTAR, class of 2015. Caitlin earned a bachelor of science degree in biology from Miami University and a bachelor of science degree in nursing from the University of Missouri. She is employed with Children’s Mercy in Kansas City. 

Her groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. L.D. Hubert Smith of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Mrs. Ashley Lee Johnson of Bella Vista, Arkansas, and the late Mr. Johnson. Brody is a graduate of Rockhurst High School. He earned a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri and is employed with HNTB in Kansas City. Theirs will be a June 25th wedding at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Kansas City.
