Mr. and Mrs. Allen W. Blair of Our Town are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Catherine Conness Blair, to Andrew Martin Rapp, the son of Linda Martin Rapp of St. Charles, Missouri, and Mr. Vincent Rapp of St. Charles, Missouri. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Palmer of Jefferson City, Missouri, the late Mr. Robert E. Dallmeyer, Jr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles David Blair. Catherine is a graduate of North Kansas City High School. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in linguistics from the University of Missouri and a master of science degree in speech language pathology and audiology from the University of Central Missouri. Catherine was presented at the Harvest Ball in 2008 and is a BOTAR, class of 2009. She is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and is careering with the St. Joseph School District. 

Her groom-elect is the grandson of Carol Sydnor Rapp of Chicago, Illinois, Mr. Donald Reinhold Rapp of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul William Martin. Andrew is a graduate of Duchesne High School in St. Charles, Missouri. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in political science and a master’s degree in business administration and finance from the University of Missouri. Andrew is employed with United Missouri Bank. Theirs will be an August 2nd ceremony at St. John’s United Methodist Church.
