Congratulations, Cydney & Benton!

Kathryn Marie Ricker of Kansas City, Missouri, is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Cydney Grace Ricker, to Benton Clark Glaze, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Clark Glaze of Kansas City. Cydney is also the daughter of the late Mr. Robert Patrick Ricker, Jr. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. Robert Patrick Ricker, Sr., of Edwardsville, Illinois, and the late Mrs. Ricker, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leonard G. Peterson. Cydney is a graduate of Rochelle Township High School in Rochelle, Illinois. She earned a bachelor of science degree in journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder. A member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority, Cydney is employed with the Kansas City Chiefs. 

Her groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Samuel Clayton Miranda of Lawrence, Kansas, and the late Mr. Miranda, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Smith Glaze. Benton is a graduate of The Pembroke Hill School. He was a member of the floor committee of The Jewel Ball in 2008 and was a BOTAR escort in 2010. Benton received a bachelor of science degree in the economics of business and public policy from The George Washington University. A member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity, he is employed with Mission Peak Capital in Kansas City. Theirs will be a May 14th wedding at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church.
