Congratulations, Danielle & Christopher!

Mrs. Thomas Logan and Mr. Larry Kidd of Charlotte, North Carolina, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Danielle Allison Kidd, to James Christopher Burcham, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Grant Burcham of Our Town. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Simms and the late Mr. and Mrs. Chester Walton Kidd. Danielle is a graduate of Central Cabarrus High School in Concord, North Carolina. She earned a bachelor of social work degree from North Carolina State University and a master of social work degree from the University of North Carolina. 

Her groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Irvine Oty Hockaday, Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas Burcham all of Our Town. Christopher is a graduate of The Pembroke Hill School. He earned a bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Miami. Christopher was a Jewel Ball floor committee member as well as an escort in 2011. Danielle and Christopher are employed with Cerner. Theirs will be an April 8th wedding at Trinity United Methodist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina.
