Congratulations, Frances & Vance!

Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Gifford Wooldridge of Our Town are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Frances Marie Wooldridge, to Vance Simon Wentz, the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Butler Wentz of Leawood, Kansas. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Higgins and the late Betty Higgins, and the late Mr. and Mrs. A. Janssen Wooldridge. Frances is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. She earned a bachelor of science degree in nutrition from Kansas State University, and a bachelor of science degree in nursing from The University of Kansas School of Nursing. Frances was presented at The Jewel Ball in 2015 and is a BOTAR, class of 2018. A member of Pi Beta Phi sorority, Frances is employed with Ascentist Healthcare Ambulatory Surgery Center in Merriam, Kansas. 

Her groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. James Chaulk and the late Mrs. Chaulk, and Mr. R. David Wentz and the late Dr. C. Ann Wentz. Vance is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. He earned a bachelor of science degree in marketing and a master’s degree in personal financial planning, both from Kansas State University. Vance is employed with Tax Favored Benefits in Overland Park, Kansas. Theirs will be a December 31st wedding at The Kansas City Country Club.
