Debora H. Field and David J. Orlowski of Mission Hills are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Elizabeth Orlowski, to Christopher Ray Jones, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin R. Jones of Mission Hills. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Richard M. Orlowski of Prairie Village and the late Mr. Orlowski and the late Mr. and Mrs. George W. Field. Kathryn is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. She earned a bachelor of science degree in journalism and mass communications from Kansas State University. Kathryn is a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority. She is a BOTAR, class of 2009, and is the co-founder of Highline+Partners.
Her groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. John L. Hansen of Prairie Village and the late Mr. Hansen and Mr. Ray D. Jones, Jr. of Mission Hills and the late Mrs. Jones. Chris is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in strategic communications from The University of Kansas and a master’s degree in entrepreneurial real estate from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. Chris was a BOTAR escort in 2008. He is a member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity and is employed with Jones Development Company. Theirs will be a June 3rd wedding in Weston, Missouri.
