Congratulations, Lauren & Peter!

Mary Beth Bavitz and Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Bruce Bavitz, all of Lincoln, Nebraska, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Bavitz, to Peter James Fields, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip James Fields of Westwood, Kansas. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Lincoln East High School. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in law, politics, and society and rhetoric from Drake University and a juris doctor from The University of Kansas School of Law. Lauren is employed with Margie Wakefield Law in Lawrence, Kansas.

Her groom-elect is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. Peter was a Jewel Ball escort in 2007. He earned a bachelor of science degree in business and finance from The University of Kansas. A member of Delta Upsilon fraternity, Peter was a BOTAR escort in 2015. He is employed with Great Range Capital in Mission Woods, Kansas. Theirs will be a July 27th wedding at The Abbott in Kansas City, Missouri.
