Congratulations, Lauren & Ross!
Mr. and Mrs. John Christopher McCarthy of Leawood are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Ann McCarthy, to Ross Vincent Scimeca, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Louis Scimeca of Our Town. The bride-to-be is a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in advertising and public relations from Avila University. Lauren was presented at the Junior League Cotillion in 2001. She is a BOTAR, class of 2007, and careers with McCarthy Auto Group.
Her groom-elect earned a bachelor of science degree in marketing management and a master’s degree in business administration from Missouri State University. A member of Sigma Chi fraternity, Ross has spent the last 15 years in the healthcare industry with a focus on managing and operating Outpatient Surgery Centers. Their wedding will be in February at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.
