Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Jared Bassett!

Elizabeth Ann Keaveny and Jared Scott Bassett were married on September 15th at St. Ann Catholic Church. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen S. Soden of Our Town and the late Mr. Thomas Leo Keaveny III. Elizabeth is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Huxtable of Prairie Village, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Keaveny of Northbrook, Illinois, and Mrs. Robert Soden of Our Town and the late Mr. Soden. Her groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Bassett of Coos Bay, Oregon. Jared is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Braulick of Coos Bay and Mrs. and Mrs. Maurie Bassett of North Bend, Oregon. On the evening prior, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Bassett hosted a rehearsal dinner at Waldo Pizza. Following the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Soden feted the couple with a reception at Indian Hills Country Club. Members of the wedding party included the bride’s sister, Kathleen Keaveny, maid of honor; and bridesmaids Allison Bassett, sister of the groom; Kellyn Smith, Emily Thompson and Marit Tegelaar. The groom’s father, Scott Bassett, served as best man; and Thomas Keaveny and Joseph Keaveny, brothers of the bride; and Nathan Thornton were groomsmen. The happy couple enjoyed a honeymoon on Mount Bachelor, Oregon, and are at home in Portland, Oregon.
