Blair Yukon Benjamin and Daniel Mark Aires were married on August 31st at the InterContinental Kansas City at the Plaza. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Lyon Benjamin of Overland Park. Her groom is the son of of Mr. and Mrs. Julian Aires of San Diego, California. The evening prior, the groom’s parents hosted a lovely rehearsal dinner at The Roasterie. Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a beautiful reception at the InterContinental Kansas City at the Plaza. Catherine Cooling Davis served as the matron of honor. Claudia Aires, sister of the groom; Elizabeth Benjamin, cousin of the bride; Charlotte Melcher Berlin and Kathryn Davis were bridesmaids. Jonathan Aires, brother of the groom; served as the best man. Brett Benjamin, brother of the bride; Stephen Ahron and Brian Danza were groomsmen. The couple is at home in New York, New York, where Blair is careering with Edelman and Daniel is employed with Schulte Roth & Zabel.
