Kimberlee Nicole Ried and Erik Olav Bergrud were married on November 15th in the Marjorie Powell Allen Chapel at Powell Gardens. The bride is the daughter of Vicki Ried of Our Town and Mr. David Ried of Blue Springs, Missouri. She is the granddaughter of Thelma Logan of Our Town, the late Mr. James Edwards and the late Mr. and Mrs. Luke Ried. Her groom is the son of Dr. Jolene Cadenbach of Arcadia, California, and Mr. and Mrs. Bjorn Bergrud of Seattle, Washington. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Cadenbach and the late Mr. and Mrs. Rudolf Bergrud. 

The evening prior, Vicki Ried hosted a rehearsal dinner at Garõzzo’s Ristorante. Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents and grandmother hosted a reception at The Stanley Event Space in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Margaret Booker served as the maid of honor. Jennifer Melton and Michelle Morse were attendants. Luke Bergrud, son of the groom; served as the best man. Jennifer Breeden and Devon Ried, cousin of the bride; were ushers. Dr. Jolene Cadenbach, mother of the groom; was the officiant. The happy couple enjoyed a honeymoon in Oahu, Hawaii, and are at home in Our Town. Kimberlee is careering with the National Archives at Kansas City, and Erik is employed with Park University.
