Mr. and Mrs. Steven Patrick Marso of Lake Quivira, Kansas, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Morgan Renee Marso, to Kurt Daniel Jensen, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Burton Jensen of Leawood, Kansas. Morgan is the granddaughter of Mrs. Clifford Lee Baslee of Kansas City, Kansas, and the late Mr. Baslee; Mr. and Mrs. Pat Marso of Leavenworth, Kansas, and the late Sandra Jane Marso. Kurt is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Welty Stewart of Prairie Village, Kansas; and Mrs. Richard Charles Jensen, Jr. of Prairie Village, and the late Mr. Jensen.
Morgan graduated from St. Teresa’s Academy and earned a bachelor of science degree in business marketing from The University of Kansas, where she became a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She earned a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Friends University. Kurt graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School and earned a bachelor of science degree in business finance and real estate from the University of Missouri, where he became a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity. Kurt was a Gentleman of The Jewel Ball in 2013, and a BOTAR Escort in 2017.
Morgan is employed with Morgan Marso Therapy, and Kurt is employed with Kessinger Hunter & Co. The couple will be married at Jacob’s Well on May 23rd.
