Congratulations, Sarah & Andrew!

Mr. and Mrs. Michael A. Luby, Jr. of Fairway are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Elisabeth Luby, to Andrew Ryan Tate, the son of Mr. Michael and Dr. Nancy Tate of Topeka. The bride-to be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Robert E. Smith of Prairie Village and the late Dr. Smith and Mrs. Michael A. Luby, Sr. of McKinney, Texas, and the late Mr. Luby. Sarah is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. She was a Jewel Ball debutante in 2010. Sarah earned a bachelor of science degree in pharmaceutical studies from The University of Kansas and a doctorate of pharmacy from The University of Kansas School of Pharmacy. She is a BOTAR, class of 2013. Sarah is a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority and careers as a Clinical Pharmacist at The University of Kansas Hospital. 

Her groom-elect is a graduate of Washburn Rural High School in Topeka. Andrew earned a bachelor of science degree in pharmaceutical studies from The University of Kansas and a doctorate of pharmacy from The University of Kansas School of Pharmacy. He is employed with ScriptPro. Theirs will be an October 8th wedding at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church.
