Mr. and Mrs. Roger Claude Twibell of Fairway are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Taylor Leigh Twibell, to Brett James Havens, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Joseph Havens of Overland Park. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Edward Joseph Maguire, Jr. of Rye, New York, and the late Mr. Maguire and the late Mr. and Mrs. Rex Twibell. Taylor is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. She was a Jewel Ball debutante in 2010. Taylor earned a bachelor of arts degree in communication from The University of Kansas. She is a BOTAR, class of 2013. Taylor is a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority and careers with MMGY Global. 

Her groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Daniel James Baker of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and the late Mr. Baker and Mrs. Robert Raymond Havens of Overland Park and the late Mr. Havens. Brett is a graduate of Blue Valley Northwest High School. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in communication and business from The University of Kansas. He is a member Sigma Chi fraternity and is employed with FireMon. Theirs will be a September 9th wedding at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Redemptorist Catholic Church.
