Congratulations, Sarah and John!
Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Gillam Manda of Pleasant Hill, Missouri are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Amelia Manda, to John Talmage Halcomb, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Halcomb of Schochoh, Kentucky. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. John Edwin Young of Our Town and the late Mr. Young, and Mrs. Edward Arnold Manda, Jr., of Pleasant Hill and the late Mr. Manda. Sarah is a graduate of Pleasant Hill High School. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from the University of Missouri. Sarah is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and was a BOTAR, class of 2005. She is careering with Americo Life in Our Town.
Her groom-elect is the grandson of the late Dr. and Mrs. Richard Byron Donaldson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Will Frank Halcomb. John is a graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School in Franklin, Kentucky. He earned a bachelor of science degree in agri-business management from the University of Missouri and he is currently employed with BP Biofuels in Jennings, Louisiana. Theirs will be a September 1st wedding at First Presbyterian Church in Pleasant Hill, Missouri.
