Dr. Mary Martin Henry and Dr. Clarke Latta Henry, Jr., of Mission Hills are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Christine Martin Henry, to George Christian Vetter, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Vetter of Shawnee. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Leo Martin of Palo Alto, California, and of Dr. and Mrs. Clarke Latta Henry, Sr., of Fairway. Christine is a graduate of The Pembroke Hill School. She earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Saint Louis University and is a member of Kappa Delta sorority. Christine was a Jewel Ball debutante in 2006 and is a BOTAR, class of 2009. She is careering with Milbank Manufacturing.

Her groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Karl Henry Finkemeier of Roeland Park and the late Mr. Finkemeier, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Christian Vetter. Chris is a graduate of Shawnee Mission North High School. He earned a bachelor of science degree in economics from The University of Kansas. Chris is a member of Phi Kappa Theta fraternity and is employed with Concorp. Theirs will be a September 22nd wedding at Trinity Lutheran Church.
