Congratulations, Logan & Spencer!

Mrs. Reginald Owen Lyerla of Prairie Village is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Logan Boomer Lyerla, to Spencer Deramus Dean, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Harkless Dean, Jr., of Mission Hills. The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late Mr. Reginald Owen Lyerla. Logan is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Warren Harvey Boomer and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dale Donley Lyerla. She is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. Logan earned a bachelor of general studies degree in communication from The University of Kansas. She is a BOTAR, class of 2007. Logan is a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority, and is careering with Kathy Logan Jewelry.

Her groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Neal Deramus III and the late Mrs. Robert A. Olson and the late Mr. Marshall Harkless Dean. Spencer is a graduate of The Pembroke Hill School. He earned a bachelor of general studies degree in developmental psychology and history from The University of Kansas. Spencer was a member of the Jewel Ball floor committee as well as an escort in 2003 and was a BOTAR escort in 2007. He is a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, and is careering with Spring Venture Group. Theirs will be an October 27th wedding at Village Presbyterian Church.
