Engagement – Kissick

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Morton Kissick, Jr. of Leawood, Kansas, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Sue Kissick, to Michael Philip Pappas, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Philip Pappas of Overland Park, Kansas. Katie is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cotton Frederick Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Morton Kissick, Sr. of Leawood. Michael is the grandson of Mrs. J. Russell Swanson of Enid, Oklahoma, and the late Mr. Swanson, and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Philip Pappas.

Katie is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School and The University of Kansas, where she earned a double bachelor of science degree in marketing and supply chain management. She is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Katie was presented at The Jewel Ball in 2017, and she is a BOTAR, class of 2021. Katie is employed with VML in Kansas City, Missouri.

Michael is a graduate of Blue Valley Northwest High School and Kansas State University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in economics. He is a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. Michael received his juris doctor degree from the UMKC School of Law. He is employed with Dentons in Kansas City. Theirs will be a May 31st wedding at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Kansas City, Missouri.
