Devon Carney creates a new version of the ancient tale, drawing upon Charles Perrault’s story, for the company he has led for a decade. 

Kansas City Ballet: Founded in 1957, Kansas City Ballet is a 30-member professional ballet company under the direction of Artistic Director Devon Carney and Executive Director Jeffrey J. Bentley. Through its professional company, its second company (comprised of KCB II and Trainees), its ballet school, and its many community programs, Kansas City Ballet seeks to nurture and develop our artists, audiences, and students in the values inherent in the creativity, diversity, and joy of dance.
